New Wet and Wild

Wet and Wild Cosmetics has really step up their game since the last time I used their products. The last time I really had used wet and wild was when I was in high school, it was all I could afford then. They worked but were not the best. I can say now 12 years (oh man i feel old 12 years since high school) they have step up the game a bunch. I was in Walgreen's the other day and found the new Fergie line and I had to pick up a couple of things to try. I purchased a lipstick in Penthouse Sweet and a face powder in Rose Champagne Glow.

The face powder is a baked powder so it can be used wet or dry, I have yet to try it out in wet form. This give a nice glow to the cheeks, I have used it over my normal matte blush in the picture as a high light. It gives a nice glow with out the overly greasy look and with out using big chunks of glitter. They have two other shades with more bronzy gold tones that would work great on darker skin tones. This one is very pink and gold which works great with my paleness.

The lipstick is on the brighter side of things and I have been wanting to go with brighter lips this spring and summer. Its also matte but not drying on the lips. its a bright hot pink that's more on the blue purplish side. Works great applied straight from the tube for a bright color pay off. Or applied using your fingers for a more sheer wash of color. It lasted a good while and almost left a slight stain behind when I went to take it off. I will be on the hunt for more colors in this range.

Once again Wet and Wild has really step up their game with the Fergie line and with their regular line of cosmetics. If you are on a budget but still want great products then you should give Wet and Wild a go.

  1. I have yet to try anything besides the Wet n'Wild eyeshadow primer from the Fergie line and it is phenomenal :D I'm glad to see a post detailing the face powder and the lipstick. I'm a huge fan of bright lipstick myself so I'll probably check it out!
