Random Thursdays

This weeks Random Thursday's topic is All Things Christmas. So I thought I would post pictures of what I got in my holiday swap :) from  over at Linny's Vault. I was paired up with Nichole. These are the things I received in the box she sent.   I loved everything, cant wait to use the napkins on Christmas eve and day during meals. The wooden tree is so pretty along with the nutcracker. The ornaments are a bit heavy but they will last for years and will go up every year here after.

And its now Christmas in this house with out a Gingerbread house :). took us an hour to put this thing together and about a day to eat it all lol. Since my husband travels our tree is always up by Black Friday along with other decorations. Hoping to go look at some lights this weekend and sing (poorly i might add) some carols while we are driving through someones neighborhood. Christmas the only time you can drive around like your casing the joint and not get pulled over lol.

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation

Just a quick review of Revlons newest foundation.

The shade I picked up is Shell (130), whats nice about this product is they have shades with a pink undertone and a yellow undertone. My shade yes a yellow undertone, its very creamy and very light weight. Its got a light to medium coverage but not full. It is nearly naked after all :). I have applied this with my hands and a brush (sigma f80). I found that with my hands it had more of a tinted moisturizer finish, but with a brush it did cover some of my freckles. This foundation didn't last a whole day for me, but I haven't found one that does. but I got a good works day worth. Its also at a good price point of Ten dollars at my CVS. If you are looking for something that is light and don't need a lot of coverage then this would be a good one to try.

Coffee Talk

Joining a new link up for today!

Coffee talk from the lovely The Spunky Poser (go check out her blog)
This week is all about your partner :) and since tomorrow is out 4 year wedding anniversiry I thought this would be fun.

1. How did you meet your partner?

Well we met the day I moved in, I handed him a box of my shoes and said HI!. I had just driven 22 hours from DC to Oklahoma city to be with my (his roommate) high school sweetheart......

2. How did you feel about your partner when you first met?

I thought he was a very attractive guy but a bit to much of the tough guy form me. Thought he would be that great drinking buddy to have in case fights start.

3. When was your first date?

Our first actual date was actually a few years into dating, He took me downtown OKC to a lovely New Orleans theme place, we spent so much money on food and drinks but it was so nice.

4. Where do you see y'all in five years?

Still getting on each others nerves, I mean loving on lol,  and hopefully with at least one more child.

5. Here is us
This is from over the summer, we were in Kansas City's Power and Light district for his big 30 party

November Favorites

I know everyone does these, and normally I cant ever come up with stuff I really liked or I come up with way to much lol. But I thought I would try and I actually only came up with four things :) yea go me!!!!!

These are the items I have been using over and over again the past month!
1. Burts Bee's hand salve, with the crazy up and down temps GA has been having this stuff has saved my hands. I found mine at CVS for around 6$. I love putting it on my hands at night since it can be a bit greasy for me.
2. OPI My Very First Knockwurst has been worn often this month. Its the perfect nude color for my skin tone. I dont look dead with it on. It also doesn't chip as fast as some of my my other polishes.
3. Urban Decay's The Fun Pallete, I have been trying to ad some color into my eye looks and the purples and teal have work so well this month.
4. Neutrogena healthy skin foundation in nude 40. With the weather change my  skin as been acting funny and this foundation has really help calm and cover my issues.

What have your favorites this past month been? Anything new I should try or you want to try?
